FAQs
Which copy is kept when lines repeat?
The first occurrence is kept and later duplicates are removed, so your original ordering is preserved.
Is “Apple” the same as “apple”?
By default, no — matching ignores case, so they count as duplicates. Tick “Case sensitive” to treat them as different lines.
What counts as an empty line?
Lines with no text, or only spaces and tabs, are treated as empty when the “Remove empty lines” option is on.
Is any of my text stored?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser, and your text never leaves your device.
