FAQs
What is binary?
Binary is base-2 notation using only 0s and 1s. Each byte (8 bits) represents one unit of data, which is how computers store text.
Why 8 bits per group?
UTF-8 encodes text as bytes, and each byte is shown as 8 bits. Characters outside basic English use several bytes, hence several groups.
Can it decode binary with spaces?
Yes. Spaces, line breaks and other whitespace are ignored when decoding, so pasted binary in any layout works.
