Sitemap Generator

Build a valid XML sitemap from a list of URLs. Paste one URL per line, choose the change frequency and priority, and get a sitemap.xml file ready to upload or submit to search engines.

How to Use

  1. Paste your URLs into the box — one per line.
  2. Choose a change frequency and priority; keep today’s lastmod ticked or untick it.
  3. Click Generate sitemap to build the XML.
  4. Copy the XML or download sitemap.xml, then upload it to your site root.

Key Features

  • Built from your URLs only — the sitemap contains exactly the list you paste.
  • Valid sitemap XML — generated with the XML DOM against the sitemap schema.
  • Optional lastmod — today’s date added when ticked.
  • Copy and download — one-click clipboard copy and sitemap.xml download.
  • 100% private — runs entirely in your browser; nothing is sent or stored.

FAQs

Where do I upload the sitemap?

Upload sitemap.xml to your website’s root folder, then submit its address in Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools.

How many URLs can a sitemap hold?

The sitemap protocol allows up to 50,000 URLs per file. For larger sites, split the list across several sitemaps.

Do I need lastmod, changefreq and priority?

They are optional hints for crawlers. Include them when they are accurate; the loc address is the only required field.

Is my URL list sent anywhere?

No. The sitemap is built entirely in your browser and never transmits or saves your URLs.
