FAQs
Is this veterinary advice?
No. This is a general estimate only. Appetite, metabolism and health conditions vary widely, so check with your vet before changing your pet’s diet.
Where do I find kcal per 100g?
It is printed on the food packaging, usually in the nutritional information panel, or on the manufacturer’s website.
How many meals per day?
Most adult dogs and cats do well on two meals a day. Puppies and kittens usually need three or four smaller meals — ask your vet.
Should I feed more if my pet is very active?
Choose the Active adult stage for a higher estimate, but very active, working or sporting animals should have their diet planned with a vet.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser and never transmits or saves your entries.
