FAQs
Should I use paragraphs or line breaks mode?
Use paragraphs mode for normal prose: separate paragraphs with a blank line and each becomes a p element. Use line-breaks mode for addresses, poetry or lyrics, where every line ends with a br.
What does escaping HTML entities do?
It converts characters like &, < and > into entities so they display as text instead of being parsed as HTML — essential if your text includes code samples.
Will the output work in my CMS?
Yes. Paste the generated HTML into your CMS’s HTML or source-code view (not the visual editor) and it will render as proper paragraphs.
Does it preserve blank lines?
In paragraphs mode, one or more blank lines mark the boundary between paragraphs, so extra blank lines are collapsed neatly.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript, so your text never leaves your device.
