FAQs

Where do I find the coverage figure?

It is printed on the paint tin or the manufacturer’s website, usually stated as m2 per litre per coat.

Should I buy extra paint?

It is wise to round up and keep a little spare for touch-ups. Rough, textured or unpainted plaster walls can need up to 20% more.

Does this include ceilings?

No — measure ceilings separately and run the calculation again, or add the ceiling area to your wall total first.

What about doors and windows?

For a closer estimate, subtract roughly 2 m2 per door and 1.5 m2 per window from your wall area before calculating.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser and never transmits or saves your entries.
